When I started planning out this chapter I didn't think of including this. But as I started writing and recording, I realized that this is actually a pretty good sounding effect, and it teaches you a bit about how the op amp works. We'll look at it on the oscilloscope first, and then in the next lesson on audio output safety, we'll listen to it.
Also make note that if you either a) are seeing some really weird distortion that's different that what's in the video, or b) are having a hard time getting the waves to nicely lock into place on the oscilloscope, I address both of those issues in the second and third video below.
